About Jodi

Admissions success

Jodi has provided strategies and supports to scores of students throughout the United States. She has worked with students to achieve Early Decision, Early Action and Regular Decision opportunities. The students she has worked with have been offered millions of dollars in financial aid, including merit scholarships.  Her broad base of knowledge allows her to assist students of all levels of academic achievement, identifying necessary supports for students with learning needs or medical considerations. She has also assisted students who required help in the transfer admissions process.

Jodi makes her recommendations to families and students based on more than just college guidebooks and online resources.  She has visited over 100 campuses in over 10 different states.  She meets with dozens of college representatives every year, and visits on average 20-40 campuses annually.  

Professional associations and continuing education

Jodi is proud to belong to the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC), Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), Higher Educational Consultants Association (HECA) and New York State Association of College Admissions Counselors. These organizations have membership requirements reflecting educational, ethical and experiential standards that ensure professionalism. In addition, Jodi has earned the designation of Certified Educational Planner (CEP) and participates in ongoing educational programs and conferences that these memberships provide. Her knowledge is current, her resources are extensive and her expertise wide-ranging.

Education and Experience

Jodi holds a BA and MA from the University of Rochester in Psychology. She has over 20 years of experience in educational and clinical settings, allowing her to recognize those factors that will contribute to a best fit college choice for each student.  Whether providing comprehensive college choice services or working with a student on specific admissions tasks, she provides personalized attention for each family and student.
